Been working on the motor the last few nights. I wish I had a larger garage. It’s a little crowded these days.

Found some tires over the weekend from a local tire shop. They are going to be here this week I hope. Finally got my money back from the other tires that I original ordered.  I installed the rear seal over the weekend, but the timing chain was sloppy so I ordered a new one before re-assembly. My rims are due back Thursday. It’s only been three weeks to be blasted. A little slow. Have a great day.

Motor is ready to be flipped over to complete the top. New timing chain and gears installed. Should have the top end finished by tomorrow, and on to the rims. Tires arrived today, Finally.

Work on project has slowed down some.  Been getting the engine ready, but have been unable to find exhaust manifolds for it that are original. I did find a distributor, but need to change the cap to black. The transmission hasn’t come back from the shop yet either. I worked on the old valve covers last night hoping be able to trade them at the swap meet this weekend for something I could use, they look a little different from the old pictures. I also have a set of headers I’m going to try to trade off. Our Chevelle club show is this Sunday. I was hoping to have the engine and transmission in by this weekend so I could enter the frame in the show under the in progress category, but the new rules state you have to be able to drive it in. I don’t think that will happen.

Transmission is finished and the motor and trans will be going back in the car this weekend or early next week.
Motor is changing day by day
